Goalkeeper Suraj Ayeleso has been appointed as the new captain of Kwara United ahead of the coming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Kwara United head coach, Ashifat Suleiman, revealed to the team at the pre-season training camp in Offa this week that Ayeleso will take up the leadership role after the departure of Abdulafeez Musa.
Ayeleso got the captaincy owing to his “vast experience” as well as being one of the longest-serving goalkeeper in the top division.
Alao Mohammed has also been named the deputy captain of the club for the coming season following the departure Kabiru Mohammed as well.
